Location: Pattani is located on the S coast of the Gulf of Thailand. General overview: Dry bulk, general cargoes and rubber are transported by lighter to and from vessels at anchor. Other cargoes handled by the port include coffee, minerals, fish food, fertiliser and coconut products. Fishing vessels also use the port. The port is operated by Pattani Karn Pramong Co Ltd. Traffic figures: Approx 350,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Tropical. Max. size: draft: 6.5 m. The largest vessel called at the port: LOA: 76 m.
