The port has facilities for general and tanker cargoes. Traffic figures: Approx 440,000t of cargo, 22,000TEU, 2,000 vessels are handled annually. Load line zone: Tropical. Max size: General Cargo: LOA 144m, draught 6.0m (Deeper draught may be permitted by arrangement with Harbour Master), 16,000DWT. Tankers: LOA 120m and 6,000DWT.
