Location: The Port of Agotnes is located approx. 10NM W of Bergen in the Hjeltefjorden. General overview: The Port of Agotnes and The Coast Center Base (CCB) serves as an onshore support and service base for the offshore oil industries. It handles Norwegian coastal and overseas transport, North Sea traffic and traditional offshore base and supply services. The harbour provides deepwater anchorage for vessels with depths of 29m to 74m, and for semi submersible drilling platforms and large vessels, the anchor site is appointed by the Port Authority. The CCB supplies the Statfjord, Gullfaks, Veslefrikk, and Troll oil fields.
