Location: Brest is located on the NW coast of France at the W entrance to the English Channel, approx 550km from Paris. Two vessels can be discharged simultaneously, to store more than 100,000 tonnes of goods and to load/unload 9,000 tonnes per day. -Multimodal Terminal: Quay length 600 m., with one Ro-Ro linkspan and two mobile cranes for container handling. -Refrigerated Terminal: Four quays with six cranes; 200 electric sockets for refrigerated containers; Traffic figures: Approx 2,815,800t of cargo, 740 vessels and 27,000 passengers handled annually.
