Location: Kulevi Terminal is located near the port of Poti at the mouth of the Khobistskali River. General overview: The terminal which is run by the Azerbaijani state-owned SOCAR, will handle crude oil and refined products from Azerbaijan. Kulevi Oil Terminal includes three piers, a canal for tankers, a mobile service fleet of nine vessels and a laboratory for oil and refined products testing.The full capacity of the tank farm of the terminal is 402,000m3. The terminal is able to receive up to 168 tank cars at the same time, through four railway branches. Kulevi oil terminal ishandles various cargoes like crude oil, fuel oil, methanol, propylene, liquid pyrolysis resin, naphtha, isopropyl alcohol, diesel fuel with ultra-low sulfur content, diesel fuel, gas oil, industrial oil, aviation fuel and condensate.
