General Description
Location: Prigorodnoye is located in Aniva Bay, on the S coast of Sakhalin Island. General overview: Prigorodnoye, part of the Sakhalin ll Project, has a crude oil export terminal and liquefied natural gas (LNG) processing plant which has recently commenced operations. LNG is exported from a 805m jetty, via two loading arms and one boil off gas return arm, with vessel loading time estimated at 6-16 hours, depending on size of cargo. A crude oil tanker loading unit (TLU) is located approximately 4.8km from land. Aniva Bay is mainly ice free throughout the year. Load line zone: Summer zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Seasonal Area for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Dec 1 to Feb 28/29, Summer Mar 1 to Nov 30. Max size: LNG: 145,000m³ vessels. Offshore Tankers: 150,000m³.
