General Description
Location: Hundested Havn is situated on the E side of the entrance to Isefjord. General overview: The port is divided into two harbours, the Old Harbour which is mainly a fishing harbour to the N and Faergehavn, the commercial port 0.3nm S. The Old Harbour, protected by two moles, consists of an outer basin, leading to three inner basins used by fishing vessels. Faergehavn consists of Warehouse Wharf with two Ro-Ro berths, two ferry berths and a general cargo/bulk berth. Traffic figures: Approximately 110 vessels visit the port annually. Max size: Old Harbour: Yderhavnen, draught 4.7m. Faergehavn: Bulkkajen, draught 8.0m.
