Location: The port of Koge is located approx 20nm SW of Copenhagen on the island E coast of Denmark. General overview: Facilities are available for accommodating dry bulk vessels, Ro-Ro vessels and tankers including gas tankers. Exports include cereals, wooden products, lime, china clay and general cargo. Imports include chemicals, feed stuffs, fertilisers, grain, oil, petrol, timber, containers and Ro-Ro vessels. Traffic figures: Approx 1,275 cargo vessels and 1,850,000t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: Max LOA 180m; beam 25m, draught 6.7m. Largest vessel handled: A multi purpose vessel, "Chubut", 20,717DWT; draught 6.7m.
