General Description
Location: Sha Lung Oil Terminal is situated within port Shalung at the NW coast of Taiwan.
General overview: Sha Lung Oil Terminal is included in the Keelung entry. It is an off-shore terminal which consists of two single point mooring buoys lying at te seaward end of submarine pipelines extending 2 miles NW and NNW from a point of the NW coast. The terminal can accomodate 250,000 DWT tankers supplying the T'ao-yuan refinery 10 miles SSE. Terminal operations cease between 15 October and 31 Mrch owing to NE monsoon.
