General Description
Location: Vysotsk is located on Vysotsky Island in the Gulf of Finland, 49nm from Saint Petersburg and 5nm SW of Vyborg.
General overview: The port has facilities mainly for bulk cargoes such as coal, and iron ore pellets. Total quayside length is 680m.
The final phase of Vysotsk Lukoil Terminal was completed in September 2006. The port operates thoughout the year with the assistance of two icebreakers during the winter period.
Traffic figures: Approx 13,422,100t of cargo handled annually. Load line zone: North Atlantic Winter Seasonal Zone II. Winter: 1 Nov-31 Mar. Summer: 1 Apr-31 Oct.
