Location: The Port of Egersund is located on the S coast of Norway, approx. 170nm SW of Oslo.

With a year-round ice-free harbor, the port boasts depths of 10-20m and features four berths that can accommodate general cargo and Ro-Ro vessels. The total quayage available exceeds 4,500m, making it one of Norway's largest natural ports.
Known for its abundant fish stocks, the Port of Egersund is considered one of Norway's principal fishing ports. The port's strategic location and excellent facilities have made it an important center for the export of fish meal, fish oil, and oatmeal. The port also imports essential commodities such as salt, clay, and soya beans.
