Location: The Port of Liepaja is located on the Baltic coast.
General overview: The Port of Liepaja is a major commercial port situated in the western part of the town, covering a land area of 370ha and including a basin of 810ha which is kept ice-free in winter.
The port features a total of approximately 7,000m of berths with depths alongside ranging from 4.5m to 10.5m.
It offers a wide range of services including cargo transhipment, import and export of general cargo, timber, metals, fertilizers, bulk and liquid cargo, as well as servicing Ro-Ro, passenger ferries, fishing vessels and yachting services in the summer.
