Location: Gulfhavn is situated on the Cape of Stignaes, Denmark. General overview: The port of Gulfhaven is a "T" shaped structure and comprises an approach pier which extends 306m from shore and a pier head which is 500m in length, with facilities for three berths. The port is operated by Energi E2 A/S and operates as a storage facility for oil products. The nearby Stignaes Oilpier is under separate entry. Traffic figures: Approx 150 vessels handled annually. Load line zone: Summer Zone for ships over 100m in length and Winter Zone for ships of 100m or less in length. Winter Nov 1 to Mar 31, Summer Apr 1 to Oct 31. Max size: LOA 280m, draught 15.5m, approx 150,000DWT. Largest vessel handled: Approx 120,000DWT. Partially loaded vessels up to 170,000DWT with a max displacement of 144,000t can be accommodated but require special approval from Gulfhavn Port Authority.
